A subsidiary of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, ZF Bouthéon SAS produces mechanical and robotised gearboxes for medium-duty industrial vehicles and numerous complex mechanical parts: aluminium housings, pinions, satellite shafts, synchronisation parts, etc.

The ZF Bouthéon site has two compact and flexible assembly lines with error prevention systems, integrated test benches and a paint booth. A large number of machines are used for broaching, press hardening, grinding, etc. Intra-sector delivery is carried out by a milk-run system and by AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles). The “ZF Production System” ensures the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and methods throughout the plant and enables us to continuously improve overall efficiency to the greatest satisfaction of our customers.

The products are exported all over the world to meet the needs of the main industrial vehicle manufacturers (MAN, ISUZU, IVECO, DAF LEYLAND, etc.). For more than 50 years, innovation, continuous improvement of processes and an advanced quality approach have enabled ZF Bouthéon to meet its customers’ requirements with a first-class level of quality.
