Auto’Mobilites Campus

The AUTO’MOBILITES Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications: A collaborative network co-sponsored by CARA, supporting skill development and promoting jobs related to e-mobility.

In a context where technology linked to tomorrow’s mobility and the way we use it evolves constantly, skills and qualification needs are also evolving for people in the fields of vehicle design, maintenance, and operation.

The Auto’Mobilités Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications brings together a diverse group of regional organizations (high schools, universities, engineering schools, research laboratories, and manufacturers) around innovative projects to meet companies’ skills needs.

In 2020, the Auto’Mobilités network was certified with a Campus label delivered by the Minister of Education, the Minister of Higher Education, Research & Innovation, and the Minister of the Economy. It now works to develop and experiment innovative training courses and resources for all learners, whether they are students, teachers, or other skilled workers.

Main actions of the campus

  • The Shared Platform for Education (3PE):

The 3PE is a place to innovate and experiment in the name of education and promote jobs and training in the mobility sector.

Classrooms and workshops in several schools of the network are equipped with training devices and testing equipment that are shared within and outside of the network: vehicle test bench, electric and hybrid vehicles, charging stations, etc.

  • The training courses

Training courses are developed by the Campus during collaborative workshops and then shared to all network members. They provide essential objectives and knowledge on key subjects related to emerging issues for the e-mobility field. They can be used for a variety of learners, whether they are students, teachers, or other skilled workers.

  • The training ressources

To further support the knowledge from the training courses, the Campus provides innovative training resources developed with technological and educational experts. These resources are shared within and outside of the network, and can be used on their own, or be added to other resources to create full training courses.
