We set up Möbius Bike in 2020 after thinking long and hard about what we wanted our cities to look like. Cycling in general has come to the fore fairly quickly as a way of combating the 30% of pollution linked to transport. But what about the rest of a bike’s life cycle?

We discovered that, despite the many advantages of the bicycle, this fast-growing industry is still based on the extraction model, with little or no concern for reducing its carbon footprint and managing its end-of-life.

So we decided to take action.
