This instrument aims to support innovative SMEs to develop products and services to adapt to the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) environment by increasing their ability to respond and adapt easily to disruptions in the value chain.

Technical and viability assessment, technical requirements for different target markets, compliance studies; prototype development, including materials/services, technical prototyping; technical and market testing, design and development of prototypes/systems integration, including materials, technical and market testing, dissemination actions to promote market launch and a business plan for the exploitation of the innovation (mandatory).

It is not necessary to form a consortium to apply for this call for proposals. This call for proposals only funds SMEs.
Only SMEs in the construction, textile and advanced manufacturing sectors are eligible.
Eligible costs are personnel costs, other costs such as supplies and services of small prototypes, subcontracting (if duly justified) and indirect costs (flat rate of 7% of total costs).
