The transport industry accounts for around 25% of global CO₂ emissions. To meet the European Union’s carbon neutrality target by 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement, it is essential to significantly reduce emissions from this sector and therefore make an energy transition. In the field of mobility, as in other sectors, no single energy source is perfect or universally applicable. Therefore, the transition is not a switch from one energy to another, but rather a process of energy diversification.

Within this diversified landscape, hydrogen stands out as a viable alternative to fully battery-powered vehicles. It is particularly well-suited to heavy-duty and/or intensive use cases, where battery technologies face performance or operational limitations.

However, several interdependent barriers still need to be overcome to enable the widespread deployment of hydrogen-powered mobility solutions.

To accelerate the deployment of a major hydrogen valley, CARA, in partnership with the TENERRDIS and AXELERA clusters, invites you to participate in a day of meetings between solution providers and contractors on the theme of “Hydrogen Mobility: from design to ecosystem.”
