Founded in 2000, Alyce is a French small-to-medium-sized enterprise specializing in the collection and analysis of mobility data for local governments, transportation operators, and consulting firms. Our core business areas cover the entire field data collection chain: traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian counts; origin-destination surveys; and travel surveys, including EMC² surveys (Cerema standard) that we conduct across numerous regions. This expertise remains at the heart of our business and forms the basis of our recognized methodological expertise. For several years, Alyce has been investing heavily in new technologies to automate and improve the reliability of this data collection. Our in-house software, minUi, uses artificial intelligence and deep learning-based image analysis (YOLO-type neural networks) to automatically detect, classify, and count users from video streams. Combined with our embedded sensors (PyCAM, Observer) and our processing infrastructure, minUi enables us to scale up complex campaigns while ensuring GDPR compliance through local image processing. This dual expertise—in traditional fieldwork and embedded AI—makes Alyce a unique player in mobility measurement.
