The Desautel group is a Lyonnais family group created in 1932. The group currently has a turnover of more than €250 million and employs more than 1,500 employees.
Within the Desautel Group, the activity related to the sale of special vehicles represents approximately 40% of 2021 turnover and includes more than 200 employees at 4 production sites in France. The two main sites located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Niévroz in the Ain and Roanne in the Loire, represent 75% of this activity.
This activity includes the design, manufacture, sale and maintenance of special vehicles in 2 main segments:
– Mobile fire and rescue equipment (vehicles and large fire ladders).
– Mobile aircraft refuelling means (transport and distribution of fuel to aircraft).
