The aim of the Second Cycle is to build bridges between fleets of end-of-use bicycles and new equipment requirements.
– Design of solutions to meet the needs of company bike fleet equipment
and communities by valuing second-hand equipment,
– Purchase/resale or transactional facilitation of end-of-use bicycle fleets
– Refurbishment of in-service bicycle fleets to extend their lifespan, proposed as
alternative to renewal.
– Support for companies and local authorities in controlling the environmental impact of
their new equipment by the council on the anticipation of the second life.
