Toncarton develops software solutions to manage transport and logistics operations. With DELIPOD, the company is expanding its expertise into urban logistics and new last-mile mobility solutions.
Since 2018, Toncarton has been developing software solutions for the transport and logistics sectors. Its TMS platform enables hauliers, logistics providers and last-mile operators to manage their operations: route planning, dispatch, real-time tracking and traceability of goods flows.
Toncarton also integrates on-board telematics into its software ecosystem, along with a suite of IoT tools, to link field data with operations: geolocation of vehicles, machinery and assets (equipment, materials and personnel), activity analysis, fixed and mobile temperature monitoring, and the reporting of technical information, with real-time visibility across all flows and indicators.
Drawing on field experience and backed by our technical expertise, DELIPOD, born within Toncarton and spearheaded by Salim Lahlou alongside Chakib Chadda (founder of Toncarton), was designed to address the challenges of urban logistics and new freight mobility solutions. The solution combines a software module, a connected urban mini-container and urban real estate assets to facilitate multi- and intermodal last-mile operations: transport to the outskirts of cities followed by redistribution via cargo bikes, light vehicles or cycle logistics networks, all with end-to-end event tracking.
DELIPOD delivers improved operational coordination, greater visibility of flows and delivery models better suited to urban and environmental constraints.
