E-BOOST is a European project funded by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) to develop a range of services for SMEs in the electromobility sector.

Funded activities :

E-BOOST consortium is organising a mission to SOLUTRANS, Lyon, France.

is a biennial fair for haulage and urban professionals where innovation and information in the HGV sector come together, for all businesses.

Gathering 55 000 professional visits from 57 countries on 95 000m² and 1 000 exhibitors; SOLUTRANS is committed to tackle 5 major themes: Urban deliveries, New Energies, Tyres, Retrofit and Embedded intelligence.

The lump sum is aimed at contributing to the following costs incurred by beneficiaries for participating to the mission:

  • Travel costs: transportation (flight, train, mileage or similar) to arrive at and return from the venue of the event (national or international event)
  • Accommodation, meals and other personal allowance to participate: is eligible only expenses spent for days included in the official agenda.
  • Registration fees: of matchmaking / side event in parallel of the Site Visit (access to sessions, exhibition, gala dinner & networking)

Criteria to determine the amount of the financial support: Successful applicants shall receive the fixed financial contribution in the form of a lump sum (€ 1 500).

Eligibility :

– Be a SME according to the European Definition regulated in the Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC :

  1. A micro enterprise: which is a company who employs fewer than 10 persons and whose turnover or annual balance sheet total does not exceed 2 million euros.
  • A small enterprise: who employs fewer than 50 persons and whose turnover or annual balance sheet total does not exceed 10 million euros.
  • A medium-sized enterprise: an enterprise who employs fewer than 250 persons, whose turnover does not exceed 50 million euros and/or whose annual balance sheet total does not exceed 43 million euros.

– Be established in the E-BOOST territorial scope described as follows:

  • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
  • Non-EU countries: Listed EEA countries and countries associated to the COSME part of the Single Market Programme or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature (list of participating countries).

– Not be “in difficulty” as defined at 2.1 of the Community Guidelines and State Aid for Rescuing and Restructuring Firms in Difficulty (2044/C22/02).
