CARA joins the MINASMART project alongside Minalogic and 12 other partners

MINASMART, EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub) for the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, aims to bring together key stakeholders, leverage advanced technologies and facilitate the digital transformation of SMEs.

MinaSmart is one of 16 EDIH projects selected by the European Commission in France, out of a total of 152 projects across Europe. More than 283 projects initially applied for the European Commission’s call for projects under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). EDIHs will aim to help businesses digitise their products, services and processes in order to become more competitive.

Contributing to the digitisation of traditional businesses in the region

MinaSmart aims to create a regional innovation network that will extend across Europe. Its mission is to support SMEs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in their digital transformation and innovation efforts within six strategic regional sectors – energy, mechanical engineering, textiles, the environment, agri-food, mobility and health – as well as the industry of the future through a cross-disciplinary approach. MinaSmart will draw on the region’s excellence in the fields of artificial intelligence (embedded), cybersecurity & cyber-physical systems and high-performance simulation.

MinaSmart, the European digital innovation hub for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, also aims to help digital players conquer Europe, find new markets and use cases, and identify future prospects and partners on a European scale.

Minasmart’s service offering will include:

🤝 Support in skills management, with access to targeted training courses and recruitment organisations or events

📅 Awareness-raising and training events on digital solutions for SMEs

🎤 Access to innovation and technology transfer through understanding use cases, the value chain and access to testing grounds

🧠 Pragmatic programmes tailored to SMEs, facilitating access to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity (diagnostics, support plans, provision of outsourced RSSI, etc.)

💲 Support in accessing private and public funding

A consortium of multidisciplinary partners

MinaSmart will roll out its initiatives with the involvement of regional digital experts: the Minalogic cluster (coordinator), ENE, the Digital League cluster, CEA, Inria and the SWARM platform.

Distribution to traditional SMEs will be facilitated by the partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises Agency, the Digital Region Campus and the application competitiveness clusters associated with the region’s strategic sectors:

➡️ CARA for mobility,

➡️ CIMES for mechanical engineering,
